A right-angled Artin group is a "free partially commutative group": the only relations are that some generators commute. Thanks to work of Huang, we have a good (though incomplete) understanding of when two right-angled Artin groups are quasiisometric, i.e. coarsely look the same. This talk is about the more general question of when one right-angled Artin group can coarsely be seen inside another. Based on joint work with Shaked Bader and Oussama Bensaid.
