Property FA for random l-gonal groups

There are various models of random groups. One interesting one is the l-gonal model of Ashcroft and Roney-Dougal (building on work of Zuk, Odrzygóźdź and others) where there are a large number of generators and relations all of a fixed length l. In this model we find a threshold for Serre's property FA, with consequences for the geometry and algebra of these groups. Joint work with Emily Clement.
