Poisson and Reciprocity

In this talk, I will present examples illustrating how the principle of "Poisson summation" can be applied to deduce useful "reciprocities" in number theory, such as those involving L-functions, through periods and trace formulae. This talk is partly based on joint works with Wing Hong Leung.
