The Brascamp-Lieb inequality is a common generalisation of many well-known functional inequalities in analysis, including the multilinear H\”older, Loomis-Whitney, and Young convolution inequalities. Here we discuss a certain incidence-geometric generalisation of the Brascamp-Lieb inequality that has come to the fore in harmonic analysis recently.
