Global-local mixing was introduced by Lenci as a notion of mixing for infinite measure-preserving dynamical systems. This property was established by Bonanno & Lenci in some special cases of Pomeau-Manneville intermittent maps with one neutral fixed point.
I will describe joint work with Doug Coates which shows how to remove the restrictions in Bonanno & Lenci and obtain full global-local mixing results for intermittent maps with several neutral fixed points. A key step is to reduce global-local mixing to Krickeberg mixing, which was solved in previous work with Dalia Terhesiu.
