Professor Carey Priebe, the School’s inaugural Heilbronn Distinguished Visitor in Data Science visits from February 1st- April 30th
We are delighted to welcome Professor Carey Priebe from Johns Hopkins University, who is the School’s inaugural Heilbronn Distinguished Visitor in Data Science. Carey will be visiting from February 1st to April 30th.

Professor Carey Priebe
Carey’s main research interests include computational statistics, dimensionality reduction, model selection, statistical inference for high-dimensional graph data and statistical pattern recognition.
He is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, a Lifetime Member of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, an Elected Member of the International Statistical Institute, and a Fellow of the American Statistical Association. He was a recipient of the 2010 American Statistical Association Distinguished Achievement Award and in 2008 he was named one of six inaugural National Security Science and Engineering Faculty Fellows.
