Metric Lie groups and their dilations

Which Lie groups admit a left-invariant distance with a metric dilation? Which Lie group automorphisms can be dilations for some left-invariant distance? When do we have dilations of all factors? I will give the answers during the talk, together with examples and digressions in the context around this study.
