Quantitative rectifiability in Heisenberg groups

Analysis and Geometry Seminar

28th January 2021, 3:15 pm – 4:15 pm
Online, (contact organisers for details)

The Heisenberg group can be thought of as a non-Abelian generalization of Euclidean space and has been the target of intense research in the past three decades. We will discuss the Heisenberg group and recent progress in the quantitative study of rectifiability for dimension-1 and codimension-1 sets in this setting.
