Zero density estimates and fractional imaginary parts of zeros of GL(2) L-functions

We prove an analogue of Selberg's density estimate for the Riemann zeta function that holds for GL(2) L-functions. We use this estimate to study the distribution of scalar multiples of imaginary parts of zeros of GL(2) L-functions modulo 1. This is ongoing joint work with Di Liu, Jesse Thorner, and Alexandru Zaharescu.
