Equivariant Ehrhart Theory of Hypersimplices

Combinatorics Seminar

23rd September 2025, 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Fry Building, LG.20

Ehrhart theory is study of discrete volumes and related invariants of convex bodies. In this talk, I will introduce some of the main questions in the area and explain an equivariant generalisation of the theory. With time permitting, I will show some of the elegant combinatorial structures that appear in the study of the hypersimplices under the action of permutation matrices. This talk is based on joint work with Max Kölbl.
