Unitary, Symplectic, and Orthogonal Moments of Moments

I will motivate the study of moments of moments of various classical compact matrix groups via the study of moments of various L-functions, for example the Riemann zeta function. Our results give the leading order of these functions for integer moments parameters, and reveal further connections to combinatorics and representation theory. This is joint work with Jon Keating and Theo Assiotis.
