The L-function of a rational elliptic curve, when base changed to a number field, decomposes into a product of L-functions twisted by Artin representations. Over an abelian extension, their associated central algebraic L-values are known in many cases to be integral. In this talk, I will explain how to relate these L-values to Birch--Swinnerton-Dyer invariants, and how to compute their residual densities. I will focus on L-values twisted by cubic characters, where these can be made very explicit.
