Cichon's diagram for higher cardinals

Logic and Set Theory Seminar

[NB Time]

Cichon's diagram is central in the study of cardinal characteristics of the continuum - uncountable cardinals which may be strictly less than the cardinality of the reals. Recently much attention has been paid to generalisations of such cardinal characteristics when every occurrence of omega in the definitions is replaced by some larger cardinal kappa, and in a joint paper with Brendle, Friedman and Montoya we show how many of the basic results about Cichon's diagram carry over to this setting. I will give an overview of this, selecting one or two salient details to dig deeper into.
