Special functions, Riemann-Hilbert problems, and random matrices

In the talk a non-standard view on the special functions that link them in a very natural way to the classical theory of Riemann-Hilbert problems and random matrices will be presented. No special a priori knowledge of tthe subject is assumed. All the key words - ''special function'',''Riemann-Hilbert problem'' and ''random matrices'' will be explained.
