Ordinary cohomology and resonance for even Artin groups 

The integral cohomology ring of a right-angled Artin group is well-known and easily described in terms of a simplicial complex associated to its presentation. We find an analogous description of the cohomology ring of each Artin group that is even in the sense that the defining relators have length divisible by four. We also give the analogue of results of Dimca-Papadima-Suciu on resonance varieties for these groups (joint with Jeff Carlson, Graham Denham, Evgeniya Lagoda and Vsevolod Tril).
