Professor Simon Wood has been appointed Joint Editor of the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society, Series B from January 2018. JRSSB, as it is known, is one of the top journals of statistical theory and methodology in the world.
Simon is replacing Professor Piotr Fryzlewicz, London School of Economics, who is an alum and past member of the Institute for Statistical Science at the University of Bristol, whose term finishes in December.
